the whole first page of my blog is OOC.

I’ve been doing more and more ooc lately, and while it doesn’t bother me, per sé, it… it’s another sign of what I have been realizing has been happening for a bit now. 

While I love tumblr roleplay because it’s easy—unlike the forum I’m trying to get back into, there’s no set rules except maybe “don’t be a dick” and there’s no application you need to fill out to start playing a character, and you can go from paragraph-form to chat-rp and back whenever you feel like, and it’s so free-form in general…

…but that also means I’m a lot less tied to it, and when I’ve been here for a month and still have only really had a few conversations with the people/characters that ought to be a big part of this, and to be frank I follow nearly 600 people and don’t interact with basically any of them—well, it’s a bit of a downer, y’know? 

so yeah. 

I’m probably going to stop all activity on this account at some point in the near future, go back to blogging on my main, and when I do roleplay it’s likely to be on my Pokemon rp board. I’ve got almost 200 more followers here than I do on my main, so if I ever do anything like that Ponystuck: Trolling is Magic comic I was talking about a post or two ago, I’ll likely say something about it here also. Otherwise…

well, it’s been fun, it’s just too bad that it really isn’t much fun anymore. 

……..of course, this could be bullshit and I’ll be back in full-force in a few days. I hope not, I hope that I actually do something I think and/or say I’ll do for once in my goddamn life, but hey, maybe I’ll be a hypocrite once again, you never know.

i read about 5 pages, got bored, stopped. picked it up again a few months later, got to the middle of act 2 where rose commented on the bronze vaccum. stopped. got enticed to read it again, started from where i left off, was fucking hooked when i watched wv: ascend. haven’t looked back since.

((personally I was rapt by the first act, and and lol’ing everywhere. 

…granted, I was following updates as they came, so. yeah. 

re-reading it the first time did seem really slow, but as I started a second re-read I wasn’t trying to power through it, and was actually trying to get an idea of how to make John’s house in The Sims, and found it funny and great again.

(This ^ is the main question here! if no one thinks this would resemble anything near something that sounds like it might possibly be a good idea, all the below ramblings are irrelevant.)

if I did do it, would original characters be looked upon badly? (I’d have to imagine so.)

Would canon ponies making occasional background appearances be bad, or preferred? (in my head, this isn’t that sort of crossover, it’s just that ponies are a lot easier to draw than humans, so I want to actually do some sort of comic-thing-idek for once; however, if it’s wanted I could totally put canon Ponies in there too. Granted, they might not look right since my version of how I draw the ponies is a tad different than canon but idc, it’s not about looking canon it’s about ease of getting a finish product.)

would Ponyfied versions of other comics/shows/etc be welcome or scorned? 

would having an actual over-arching plot to go with this, rather than episodic chapters/whatever be necessary, or a detriment? 

asking random people on the internet because while it would be a creative endeavor that I’d do for me, it wouldn’t go anywhere if no one liked/read it :T
